The Mitten Tree is in the back entrance until after Advent. The UCW would appreciate any donations of socks, mittens, hats, scarves, etc. Also looking for items for adults as well. These items will be given out to schools & and other associations in the Moncton area as needed in the New Year.
Need a drive to church? The Session of Mountain View would like to know, please call the office at 857-4817 and leave your name.
Session is looking for volunteers to sign up to be drivers for people in the congregation who need a lift to and from church. Sign up sheet is on the table in the narthex, please specify a region of the city that you would be willing to provide drives. Thank you for helping with the needs of our church.
Church Envelopes: If you wish to have church envelopes please fill out a yellow pew cards, or give the office a call at 857-4817 and we will have them available for you the following Sunday. There are Par(Pre-authorized Remittance) brochures available in the narthex.
A huge thank you is extended to our Mountain View Congregation. Through your generosity, 700 lbs.+ of food, deposited in our Food Box, has been delivered to the Food Depot Alimentaire Inc. for 2011.
Grocery Cards-Co-op, Sobeys & SuperStore available in varying amounts. We now have Co-op Certificates that can be used at their gas bar and at the store.
Profit to date for Dec. $120.00 Total year to date: $3174.00.

It’s that time of year again! If you received a Christmas Stocking envelope from UCW earlier this year please put your envelope in the large stocking that will be hanging in the narthex during the Advent Season. Thank you for your support.

Dec. 31st – New Year’s Eve at Wesley Memorial (in the gym), an evening of music, dancing, fun and a short New Year’s Worship for Greater Moncton United Churches; start at 9 p.m., Worship Service 11 p.m. Light lunch at 11:30 p.m. No Cost. Dress: Business or semi-formal. You must pre-register. Call the office 382-4180 or e-mail: office@wesleymemorialuc.com to provide your name/church by Dec. 19th. We need to know numbers for catering purposes.

Support to Single Parent Inc.'s Soup Fest, Jan. 31st, 2012. Tickets at Reads Newstand (Main St. & Riverview) & Timothy's World Coffee on Main St. After Jan. 9th, tickets will also be available at Support to Single Parents Inc.'s new office at the Peace Centre.
We are collecting calendars for inmates at Springhill Institution. You may drop off calendars at the church office.
