Our children attend Nursery and Sunday School classes from early September and until the end of May with the annual Promotion Sunday Service and Picnic in mid-June. There is no class on holiday weekends. On these Sundays, our children attend the Intergenerational Service with their families.
Our Nursery and Sunday School program consists of:
Nursery (under 3 year olds)
Beginner (3-6 year olds)
Primary/Junior (7-10 year olds)
Youth (11+ year olds)
Each week, our children learn about Bible through various activities: Stories, Songs, Prayers, Games, and Crafts. The children also enjoy the opportunity to attend the Library periodically throughout the year.
Now is your chance to volunteer with the children to learn the Bible stories with our children. You can share your experiences with them while discovering their enthusiasm and curiosity to learn.
Opportunities are available for:
Superintendent
Responsibilities include: recruit and organize schedule for teachers & helpers, organize supplies and resources for teachers, organize registration forms for children, greet children at start of Sunday School
Teachers
Responsibilities include: 4-6 week block rotation, online lesson plan, materials available in Supply Room, support of a Helper each week
Helpers
Responsibilities include: schedule rotation (once every 4-6 weeks), assist teacher with activities, have fun with the children!
